  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (fan 180°C). Line a baking tray with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Pat the wings dry with kitchen paper, then toss them in a bowl with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until coated. Spread them out evenly on the rack and bake for 40 minutes, turning once, until crisp and golden.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together the BBQ sauce, honey, chilli flakes, and hot sauce in a small pan over medium heat. Let it bubble gently for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce until evenly coated, then return them to the oven for another 8–10 minutes so the glaze sets sticky and glossy.
